Colossians 3:12  Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, 

Today, Monday, I am focusing on just the first part written out above.  Take a minute to really think about it..We are God's CHOSEN people.  He chose us.  We are holy and dearly loved.  We have been set apart by Him.  We are loved by Him.  

How can people say the Bible is irrelevant?  It speaks directly to, for and about us!  Today I commit to remembering He chose me and I am holy and dearly loved.  What a blessing and honor that is!   

clothe yourselves with COMPASSION

When I looked up the word compassion I found the following definition, "a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering."  

So, today as I focus on learning, loving, and living this verse, I will be intentional to think about those I need to have compassion for and what I can do for them.

Today we focused on doing kind things for others

clothe yourselves with HUMILITY

Definition: the condition of being humble - not proud or arrogant; modest

clothe yourselves with GENTLENESS

clothe yourselves with PATIENCE
